Babblings by Brent

Hello everyone! I'm Brent....... I feel like I'm doing an intro to one of the podcasts! A little about myself... hmm, let's see, where to start? Well, I got into podcasting back in 2007, listening first, but by early 2008 I knew that it was something I just had to do myself. After talking with Dave about the idea for less than an hour, the tripleBcast was born. We only logged 17 episodes before fading off into the podcast graveyard like so many others before and after us. What makes us different is we resurrected the show nearly two and half years after what we and many thought was the last show! I'm glad the idea of podcasting never totally went the way of the dodo bird for us, as it is a tool we use to communicate with our friends and family. This philosophy is even more true now than ever for me because in early 2009 I moved to Germany (See Episode 18 for the skinny on that) so speaking to friends and family became a bit more challenging.

I am married to a lovely German woman, Katharina and have two children, Ashlee and Dylan, with one on the way due May 29th. I am interested in all things technology and will try to bring to the show anything I can find that's new and coming down the pipeline. Like Dave I am also a TV addict (when possible) and will also review new shows I may watch plus talk about ones I'm already faithful to. Basically in a nut shell our show will be a conversation between two long time friends and listening will be like eavesdropping on some ones conversation and who doesn't love that??? You can contact me at JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING and you can follow me on Twitter, user name is @bwgath. I look forward to hearing from you!

On episode 20 I discussed the new iPad 2. As promised, here is a closer look at the two iPads side by side. Though the specs indicate only a marginal difference in size, you can clearly see it is quite a bit smaller than the previous version. Is it enough to pay $100 more for the newer version? You decide!
